Howdy, Broncos!!! The '24-'25 school year will be my 3rd year at SFA, and 2nd year teaching 7th and 8th grade ELA (English/Language Arts) Resource. I taught in Houston ISD for 4 years between 2007 and 2011. Two weeks before the '22-'23 school year, my own 5th grade teacher posted on Facebook that Bryan ISD had 26 Special Education vacancies with only 2 weeks before that school year began. So, I left real estate, got back into teaching, and haven't regretted that decision. Despite being alum of A&M Consolidated, I'm now a Bronco through and through.
