The exciting partnership that pairs Bryan ISD, Blinn College and Texas A&M University to enroll students for high school and college dual credit is showcased in a new video hosted by Collegiate junior Azdrid Rodriguez. The aspiring communications major gives a glimpse of the top performing high school and takes viewers inside the Blinn College campus for a look at life and study in college.
Bryan Collegiate, recently named a U.S. News Top 5% High School nationwide, opened in 2007 and boasts an enrollment of 344 students. Nearly 70 percent of students are first-generation college students, and some are the first in their family to graduate from high school. Students can earn up to 60 college credit hours, or slightly more, while paying nothing for tuition or books--a potential savings of $15,000.
